One of the biggest games of the weekend takes place in Turin this weekend with an unbeaten Juventus facing Super Cup winners Milan.
A remarkable campaign sees Juventus come into Saturday's contest still unbeaten in Serie A after yet another draw picked up in their most recent fixture. Incredibly, the Old Lady have drawn 13 of 20 Serie A matches played this season, and despite remaining unvanquished, sit 5th in the division, 13 points behind leaders Napoli.
Unable to turn draws into victories, eleven of Juventus last 17 games finished deadlocked. An inability to keep clean sheets has seen Thiago Motta´s men drop points in five of their last six Serie A outings. Each of those six games also saw BTTS.
Milan make the trip to Turin with improved confidence following an unbeaten run of eight matches across all competitions. A thrilling 3:2 comeback win against old rivals Inter in the final of the Super Cup this month has given new boss Sergio Conceicao a huge boost as he looks to revive the struggling Rossoneri.
Up to seventh in the division, three points behind Juventus, Milan picked up a 2:1 comeback win at Como in their most recent Serie A outing. Like Juve, BTTS has been frequent in recent weeks with both teams finding the net in eight Milan´s last ten matches, including each of the last five.
While recent meetings between these old rivals have been tight, I fancy both teams to score in Saturday's Serie A matchup.
BTTS is my preferred pick for what could prove a thrilling encounter, while a draw again seems a likely outcome in Turin.
