On Sunday evening, the 267th Deby d'Italia between Juventus and Inter will take place at Allianz Stadium in Turin.

Juventus won the Cup title last year and finished third in the Serie A. However, this season, they are playing in the Champions League as well, and because of playing on multiple fronts, it seems that even securing a top-four finish in Serie A could be a challenge. Right now, "the Old Lady" are fifth with 43 points - two away from 4th-placed Lazio. However, they are on a nice three-game winning streak, with the last win being against PSV (2:1) in the first leg of the Champion League 1/16 Finals. That win would definitely give them a nice boost of morale for the upcoming games.

Inter had a fantastic last year in the Serie A, winning the title in dominant fashion. However, they had to do a lot better in Cup competitions. This season, they are once again among the favorites in all competitions they are in. Right now, they are in second place in Serie A, just one point away from the first-placed Napoli. Unlike Juventus, Inter absolutely dominated in the CL, securing the 1/8 Finals and avoiding one extra duel. Considering the teams have so many games to play, getting some extra time off is incredibly important. However, they haven't been great in recent matches, winning only once in the last three.

Juventus vs Inter pick: Both teams to score

Juventus weren't been great offensively last season, but they are doing a lot better this year and have scored 41 goals - 1.71 per game. Only Inter and Atalanta scored more than Juve this season. Recently, they did very well, winning three games in all competitions and scoring eight goals. To be fair, those games were against much weaker teams than Inter (Como, Empoli, and PSV), but it still had a good result. However, since they failed to keep a clean sheet in all of those three wins, we definitely do not trust their defense vs Inter.

Inter are the best team offensive team in the league, and looking at their talent up front, that is hardly a surprise. So, scoring against anyone is a must. On the other hand, even though they were fantastic defensively throughout the year, that hasn't been the case lately. In the last three games, they failed to keep their net intact and allowed a total of five goals - 1.7 per game.
