Juventus continue their battle for the Champions League places in Serie A this weekend when they welcome Genoa to the Allianz this weekend.
The hosts enjoyed a great run at the start of the season, topping the table for a number of rounds, but that form quickly faded. Juventus have been knocked out of the Supercoppa, the Copa Italia and most recently the Champions League. With the Old Lady's league form not looking good either, the board took action last week by replacing Thiago Motta with Igor Tudor.
Genoa, meanwhile, went into the international break on a three-match unbeaten run. They beat Lecce 2-1 in their last outing and will be keen to build on that performance when they visit Juve this weekend. However, the visitors will not want to be reminded of their recent poor form away from Luigi Ferraris in Serie A.
Juventus vs Genoa Betting Tips: Juventus to win
The Old Lady have had their fair share of problems against Genoa in recent years, with Juventus managing just one win in the last four Serie A encounters.
However, Juve's only win in that time came just six months ago and I expect the players to put in an impressive performance in Tudor's first game in charge.
Genoa also have one of the worst away records in the Italian top flight. The visitors are winless in their last six away games and averaged less than a goal per game during that spell.
- Best Tip: Home team to win
- Juventus vs Genoa prediction: 2-1
