Two years ago, Israel pleasantly surprised and finished the competition in League of Nations B in 1st place ahead of Albania and Iceland. This earned them a place in League A this season and they got a group of death from which it will be difficult to get out. Despite the defeats against Italy and Belgium, the Israelis put up quite a worthy resistance and scored in both matches. The third match will be perhaps the most difficult, against the vice-champions of the world, France.

France entered the competition quite slowly with a 1-3 defeat against Italy at home, they largely recovered with a 2-0 victory against Belgium. The fact is that Didier Deschamps has so far been playing cards and giving opportunities to some players who have not had too many matches in major competitions, but this is always a very good team with a large pool of quality players. Alternative solutions will only give new depth to the Tricolors

Israel is rock bottom in this group, and it is very likely that they will stay there and return to League B next season. The goal of France is not only to reach the knockout stage, but to go to the end of this competition. They have the capacity, they just need a little motivation and efficiency. Israel is playing on a neutral ground in Budapest, which certainly won't help them too much in this match. France is offensively very potent and we expect a victory with at least a 2-goal difference.
