Greece will be looking to continue their recent impressive form across all competitions when they host Ireland in Dublin on Tuesday for the second matchday of the Nations League in Group F.
After missing out on the World Cup in Qatar, the visitors suffered another heartbreak in EURO qualifying when they were knocked out of the play-offs by Georgia on penalties. It was only a matter of time before the Blues and Whites responded and they have done so with two wins from their last three matches. Their most recent victory came in the Nations League at the Karaiskakis Stadium, where they thrashed Finland and head coach Ivan Jovanović will be hoping for a similar display on Tuesday.
The Republic of Ireland have given their fans little to cheer about in recent years. Heimir Hallgrímsson's side again failed to qualify for the World Cup and didn't also make it to EURO 2024.
