IF Gnistan returns to Bolt Arena in search of a fourth successive victory following a 2:0 win against Oulu on Sunday. After failing to win six league matches in a row between June and July, Jussi Leppälahti´s side have picked up an impressive 10 points from their last four outings, lifting them clear of the relegation zone.

Competing in Finland´s top flight for the first time in their history, the hosts have certainly improved in the second half of the regular season. Gnistan picked up 14 points in their last nine matches after a tough run saw them collect just one from seven games during the summer.

Now up to eighth in the division, IF come into this contest six points clear of Mariehamn who make the trip to Helsinki now winless in seven league matches.

A dismal run of form saw IFK lose six successive league fixtures before a goalless draw against Lahti on Sunday at least stopped the rot.

On their travels, Marhiehamn have lost six of nine Veikkausliiga matches since the start of the season, including four of their last five road trips. IF conceded at least two goals in all six of those away defeats.

Considering the contrasting recent form of these sides, IF looks to offer the best value pick on Wednesday. While they have not previously beaten IFK in nine attempts since 2003, the hosts have the momentum to see-off their struggling visitors.
