Ghana will be looking to record their first win in 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualification on Monday afternoon when they welcome Niger to Accra.

The hosts travelled to Angola in midweek for their first game of the November international break and were keen to keep their AFCON qualification hopes alive. Otto Addo's side got off to a flying start, with Jordan Ayew giving his nation the lead after just 18 minutes. Zini equalised in the second half to send Ghana packing. The Black Stars remain winless after five games and the last time the Nation failed to make it to the AFCON was 20 years ago.

Niger's chances of qualifying for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations are still alive. Their faith is not in their own hands, though. Ezzaki Badou's side sit third in the standings, three points adrift of second-placed Sudan. Le Mena will need to beat Ghana and hope that Angola can help them overcome Sudan in the other Group F match.

Ghana vs Niger Betting Tips: Under 2.5 goals

Since scoring four times against the Central African Republic in a World Cup qualifier, Ghana have not had much success in front of goal. In fact, the Black Stars scored just two goals in their last five matches in all competitions. None of those matches produced more than two goals.

Niger have not been involved in many entertaining encounters of late either. With the exception of a 4-0 win over Sudan in their last outing, all the Niger national team's last six matches ended with two goals or less.

  • Best Tip: Under 2.5 goals
  • Ghana vs Niger prediction: 1-1

Niger team news

Given the result and scoreline against Sudan last time out, Niger head coach Ezzaki Badou is expected to resist the temptation to make alterations to his XI.

After his brace in that encounter, Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih forward Daniel Sosah is expected to lead the line and will be supported upfront by Ousseini Badamassi who was also on target last time out.
