With the Summer break over, Allsvenskan is underway again. One of the most exciting matchups in the 13th round will be between GAIS and Hammarby, which will take place at Gamla Ullevi in Göteborg.
GAIS had two really interesting seasons as they secured two promotions and returned to the Swedish top-flight division after 11 years. This season, they surprised pretty much all football pundits, considering they are 5th, on a level with points with Hamarby. On July 2nd, the club added forward Hedlund Lucas from Mezokovesd-Zsory on a free transfer. The 25-year-old Swed played very little for Mezokovesd-Zsory in his six-month period in Hungary and we expect him to be only a backup option up front.
The team should have no new injuries, but Binaku Egzon and Richard Friday should remain sidelined with their long-term injuries.
