Craven Cottage is the venue for an all-London FA Cup contest on Thursday evening as Fulham takes on local rivals Watford. 

Fulham vs Watford Betting Tips - Over 2.5 Goals

All signs point to goals on Thursday with both teams posting seeing plenty of high-scoring outcomes in recent weeks.

Fulham returns to action after a hard-fought 2:2 draw against Ipswich on Sunday. Marco Silva´s side twice came from behind to rescue a point at the Cottage. While the draw extended the Cottagers unbeaten record to eight matches, Fulham have been held to draws in six of those fixtures.

At the Cottage, Silva´s men have been held to draws in each of their last four matches, including back-to-back 2:2 draws against Bournemouth and the aforementioned Ipswich.

Goals have not been in short supply with four of their five most recent fixtures seeing BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored. Seven of Fulham's last nine home games saw both outcomes. 

Watford make the short trip to the Cottage having slipped to a third consecutive Championship defeat last weekend. Tom Cleverley´s men scored while losing against Cardiff, QPR and Sheffield United in three games played over the past week. 

Like the Cottagers, high-scoring outcomes have been frequent in recent Watford fixtures. Each of their last six matches saw BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored while five of their last seven away fixtures saw the same two outcomes. 

Since April, only three of Watford´s 14 away fixtures saw fewer than three goals scored, and a similar outcome seems unlikely on Thursday.

Over 2.5 goals is my top tip at the Cottage, while I also fancy Watford to score and bring up the BTTS selection.
