Both teams come into this Bundesliga matchup on the back of midweek away draws in their respective European ties against Lens and USG. Freiburg were held to a 0:0 stalemate in France while Frankfurt were pegged back by their Belgian hosts in an entertaining 2:2 draw. 

Domestically, just four points separate these sides ahead of Sunday's contest. Hosts Freiburg sit seventh with 28 points while Eintracht arrive in sixth spot with 32 points collected from 21 games played. 

A tight game seems likely with both teams struggling for wins in recent weeks. Freiburg are winless in four games having lost three successive Bundesliga matches before their draw in France. Freiburg had enjoyed a seven-game unbeaten run before a 3:1 defeat to Stuttgart in their last home fixture. Both of Streich´s men´s last two home games saw BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored.

Eintracht have been in similarly ordinary form and have now failed to win their last three games after a 2:0 defeat at Koln was backed up with a 1:1 draw against Bochum. 

A tough match to call, the H2H record reveals that six of the last eight matches between these sides saw BTTS. Last season´s corresponding fixture saw a 1:1 share of the points and I like the chances of a similar outcome this weekend with both teams short in winning performances over the past month.
