Copenhagen continue their quest to reclaim the Superliga title on Monday evening when they host Randers.

The hosts wanted to respond this season after their run of two consecutive league titles came to an end in the 2023-24 campaign. Jacob Neestrup's men haven't quite done that, though, as they finished the regular season four points off the summit and go into Monday's game on a five-game winless run. During that period, they suffered two defeats to Chelsea in the Champions League and also lost 3-2 to Viborg in the league just before the international break.

Randers FC, meanwhile, finished the regular season in fourth place, just six points behind their hosts. Prior to the international break, the Horses had their three-match unbeaten streak put to the test when they visited league leaders Midtjylland. Rasmus Bertelsen's men were 3-0 down at half-time and, despite fighting back in the second half of the game, lost 4-2, and Monday's game could prove to be another tough encounter for them.

Copenhagen have been good in attack of late, scoring in all but one of their eight Superliga games so far in 2025, and I expect them to find the back of the net on Monday.

Randers also showed their attacking prowess in their last match against the league leaders before the international break. Including the two goals scored in that match, the visitors have now scored 13 goals in their last six games and also scored in all their last five meetings with Copenhagen.
