Everton had one of their worst starts in a very long time. After the first part of the season, it seemed that the popular Toffees are one of the main candidates for relegation. However, after sacking coach Sean Dyche and appointing David Moyes, things started going for the better. The Toffees won four of six PL games under the new head coach and are now sitting in 14th place with 30 points from 25 rounds - a comfortable 13 points away from the danger zone. Right now, they are 13 points away from relegation spots but also 13 points away from European spots. Considering how well they have played lately, we wouldn't be too surprised if they would move significantly up on the league's table.

Manchester United are playing one of the worst seasons in the club's history. They tried to change the team's terrible momentum by appointing coach Ruben Amorim from Sporting, but MU's struggles continued. Some football experts suggest they are even worse under the new head coach and that the club is losing faith in the new boss. Right now, the Red Devils are in 15th place with only 29 points in 25 rounds! However, to be fair to Manchester United, they did well in the FA Cup, where they reached the 1/8 FInals and also reached the Europa League 1/8 Finals. It seems their best chance of reaching Europe is to win one of those competitions.

Everton vs Manchester United pick: Everton to (AH0) win

Right now, Everton are among the hottest teams in the PL, as they won four and drew one in the last five matches. Only the first two teams in the PL, Liverpool and Arsenal, have won the same number of points (13) as Everton in the previous five matches.

On the other hand, Manchester United had their best games in the FA Cup and the EL. In the Premier League, they lost back-to-back games against Tottenham and Crystal Palace without even scoring a goal.

Simply put, the difference in momentum between these two teams is massive. We expect a close match, but we favor Everton a bit more to win this Premier League game at Goodison Park.

Everton team news

Midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure served his one-game suspension against Crystal Palace and will be available. The 32-year-old has started in 84% of their PL games, and his return will definitely be a massive factor in this game.

However, the players who missed the previous game(s) with injuries should remain sidelined - Armando Broja, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Chermiti, Seamus Coleman, Orel Mangala, Dwight McNeil, Iliman Ndiaye, and Nathan Patterson.
