In recent years, ENPPI were mostly a mid-table team but failed to secure continental competition. This year, they are paying one of the best seasons in a while. Right now, they are 5th with 41 points, four points away from 3rd placed Al Masry. Depending on the domestic Cup winner, they could even secure the CAF Confederation Cup from 4th place, but they have to keep winning points because few teams can reach that 4th place. Currently, ENPPI are on a six-game unbeaten run and entering the season's final stage in great form. This game against Arab Contractors is their easiest, and they are in a must-win situation.

Arab Contractors are playing one of their worst seasons in a long time. Still, nothing is lost yet because they have played two games less than most of the league, and with a potential win here, they might close the gap between them and the safe zone. ENPPI are in good form, having won three of the last five matches and maintaining an unbeaten streak of six games. If we look further back, even in losses before that unbeaten streak, ENPPI lost in close matches. At home, if we also count the Cup, ENPPI won three in a row.

On the other hand, Arab Contractors are in absolutely terrible form. They lost back-to-back games against National Bank of Egypt and Pyramids while allowing seven goals. They also lost four of the last five - even losing at home in the Cup against Tersana from Division 2 A. So, even though they desperately need points to avoid relegation, we have very little faith in them.
