With their position at the top of the table already secured, Premier League champions Al Ahly will be looking for another victory at Arab Contractors Stadium against ENPPI.

The recently crowned PL champions extended their remarkable winning streak to 20 matches with a 2-1 home victory over ZED in their last Premier League outing, leaving them eight points clear of Pyramids at the summit.

An incredible run of form has seen Al Ahly win all 19 fixtures since a 0:0 draw against Es Tunis in May. Domestically imperious, Marcel Koller´s side won each of their last ten away PL games, including three successive 1:0 victories over the past month. 

ENPPI, currently in ninth place with 43 points, have endured a miserable six-game winless run coming into Wednesday´s PL contest. Sayed Yassin´s side slipped to a 4:2 defeat at Zamalek in their most recent fixtures.

Recent home form has been less than impressive with ENPPI falling to defeat in three of their last six fixtures. Now facing the champions, another reversal seems likely on Wednesday.

Indeed, Al Ahly have dominated recent meetings with ENPPI, remaining unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League clashes (10 wins, 1 draw). ENPPI have not beaten the PL champions since March 2018.

While they may not need the points, the visitors will be keen to maintain their superb winning run and I expect another low-scoring away win for Koller´s side.

Al Ahly to win is my top tip, and don´t be surprised if we see fewer than four goals scored. The champions have seen both outcomes in 12 of their last 13 victories.
