Another cracking Bundesliga contest seems likely this Sunday as Bayern Munich look to bounce back from a shock defeat at Aston Villa in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Before their midweek loss in Birmingham, Bayern had enjoyed a superb start to the season under new boss Vinny Kompany. The Bavarians won six in a row with a remarkable 29 goals scored, including a stunning 9:2 win against Dinamo Zagreb, before last weekend´s 1:1 draw against champions Leverkusen.

On the road, high-scoring outcomes have been frequent for Bayern. Over 3.5 goals were scored in each of their last ten away Bundesliga fixtures and in four of their last seven matches against Eintracht at Deutsche Bank Park including last season´s stunning 5:1 defeat.

Bayern claimed a 5:0 win at Werder Bremen in their most recent away Bundesliga fixture, although that was their first road clean sheet since November 2023.

Eintracht come into Sunday's contest on the back of an excellent 3:1 win in the Europa League against Besiktas on Thursday. The hosts have been in great form, with five wins and one draw picked up over their past six fixtures. 

Also involved in plenty of high-scorers, over 3.5 goals have been scored in five of Eintracht´s eight games played this season. 

At Deutsche Bank Park, BTTS and over 3.5 goals were scored in four of Eintracht´s last five home Bundesliga fixtures and both outcomes have to be expected against this weekend.

I'm putting my money on over 3.5 goals scored, in a game where I also expect Eintracht to score at least once against a potentially vulnerable Bayern defence.
