Newly-crowned champions Linfield will be out to extend their significant advantage at the summit of the Premiership when they take on Dungannon in the final fixture of the weekend.

Boasting a massive 19-point lead at the top of the division, David Healy´s side secured title glory after nearest challengers Glentoran drew 2-2 with Larne at the Oval.

A superb run of form in the Premiership has seen Lindfield win 12 of their last 15 league fixtures. Healy´s men lost just one of those matches. 

On their travels, Linfield have been equally effective, winning eight of their last 11 road games played since last September, including a comfortable 2:0 win at Crusaders in their most recent away fixture. Dominant in the division, the Blues lost just one of 19 previous away games since February 2024. 

Dungannon return to action after a hard-fought 1:1 draw against Portadown last weekend. Currently fourth in the division, Rodney McAree´s side have already secured a place in the top half of the division ahead of the end-of-season split. 

A lack of home consistency has proven an issue for the Swifts this season. Dungannon failed to win six of their last nine fixtures across all competitions at Stangmore Park. Four of those games ended in defeat for the home side.

With Linfield also in possession of a dominant winning record in this fixture - the Blues won all but one of their last 16 meetings - an away win should be expected on Monday.
