Debrecen are one of the biggest clubs in Hungary, but in recent seasons, they weren't great - far from it. They even spent the 2020/21 season in the second tier. This season, they are looking really bad once again and are on the path to getting relegated again. Right now, they are in 11th place with ten points, three away from the safe zone. Considering they will now face (probably) the best teams in the country, their situation isn't looking promising.

Ferencvaros are by far the biggest club in Hungary and a dominant force in recent seasons, winning the last six league titles. This season, "The Greens" are looking great once again. They are in second place with 28 points in 13 rounds. Right now, they are only one point away from the top spot, but with a game played fewer. So, a win here or even a draw would put them back in the top.

Debrecen vs Ferencvaros pick: Over 2.5 goals

Debrecen are one of the best teams for this type of bet, as 71% of their league games went over 2.5 goals. Only Paks had more games in the league with three or more goals. Additionally, even though they are in bad form, Debrecen are scoring regularly and have scored seven goals in the last four matches - 1.75 per game.

Meanwhile, Ferencvaros are in excellent form. They are undefeated in the last ten games in all competitions while scoring two or more goals on six occasions. So, we expect them to score at least a couple against out-of-form Debrecen.
