The Czech Republic haven't played at the World Cup since 2006. This group is not completed, as the loser of the Nations League quarterfinal matchup between France and Croatia will join them. Whoever came from the two giants, the Czech Republic will have at least a solid chance for the second position on the table. Ivan Hasek's team played well in the previous Nations League, where they finished first in the second level and won promotion.
