Crystal Palace are playing their 12th consecutive season in the Premier League, where they have been between 10th and 15th place but not too close to the relegation zone. However, the popular Eagles started this season terribly and are currently in the danger zone. They won just three points in six rounds, and even more worrisome is the fact they had a pretty easy schedule. So far, they faced only Chelsea from the teams that finished in the top seven last year and still had a terrible start. That slow start could be a big problem for the Eagles, but most football pundits believe they are too good of a team to be involved in a relegation battle.
With Klopp leaving the club, everyone feared what Liverpool would look like this season. But for now, The Reds are looking great under Arne Slot and are at the top of the Premier League table with 15 points in six rounds - one point above Manchester City and Arsenal. The Reds also did great in the Champions League, winning both games and being one of the only seven teams with six points in two matches. But despite that good start, the bookies still favor the Gunners and the Citizens to win the Premier League title.
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool pick: Liverpool to win and cover the -1 AH spread
Crystal Palace are one of the only five teams without a win in the Premier League. Their only two wins of the season came against the Championship sides in the Carabao Cup - Norwich and QPR. But in the Premier League, they really struggle, especially on the offensive side, as they scored just five goals. Now, they will have the challenging task of scoring against the best defense in the Premier League at this moment.
Liverpool won eight out of nine games this season while covering the -1.5 AH spread six out of those eight wins - 75%. They are playing really well, and teams from the bottom of the league's table shouldn't pose a threat to them at this moment, even away from home.
Considering a massive difference in form and overall quality, anything but a comfortable win for the Reds would surprise us.

Crystal Palace team news
According to speculations, Crystal Palace is fairly close to sacking coach Oliver Glasner, with football pundits believing that David Moyes is the primary candidate for the job. However, the bookies do not think that Glasner is close to being sacked. Right now, the odds of that happening are around 30.
The team should have no new injuries, but the ones who missed the previous matches should remain sidelined - Chadi Riad Dnanou, Christopher Richards, Cheick Doucoure, Mateus Franca de Oliveira, and Rob Holding.

Liverpool team news
After a 2:0 win over Bologna in the Champions League, coach Arne Slot spoke to the media. He said they're trying to reach perfection and that he is not fully satisfied despite winning eight out of nine games. "For most parts of the game we controlled, we had more ball possession, but they threatened us," the coach added.
Darwin Nunez recovered from illness and played against Bologna. With him recovering, the only players to miss the match are Harvey Elliott and Federico Chiesa.
