Cruzeiro will be looking to maintain their outstanding home form when they take on Red Bull Bragantino at Estádio Raimundo Sampaio.

While the hosts have struggled on their travels with defeat suffered in four of their last six road trips, Cruzeiro have enjoyed a superb run of form at Estádio Raimundo Sampaio. Fernando Seabra´s side have won each of their last eight home fixtures, including victories in all six Serie A home games played this season.

Up to sixth in the division, Cruzeiro now find themselves just five points behind league leaders Flamengo after a 2:0 away win at Gremio on Wednesday. 

Visiting RB make the trip to Belo Horizonte in less convincing form following a 2:0 defeat at Sao Paulo last weekend. The away side have struggled to find much consistent form this season, recording four wins and four defeats in their ten most recent matches.

On the road, Bragantino have been especially poor, losing three of their last four, and eight of their last 12 Serie A away matches since November 2023. 

The Raposa have also had the better of recent meetings between these sides. Cruzeiro claimed three victories and one draw in four previous encounters against the Red Bull owned franchise since 1998, including two away wins over the past year.

With Cruzeiro enjoying such strong home form, and RB continuing to struggle on the road, a comfortable home win seems likely on Saturday. I´m backing Cruzeiro to win, with hosts also tipped to score two goals or more.
