Cordoba continue their search for their first win of the 2024-25 La Liga campaign when they host Malaga this weekend.
The hosts have endured one of the worst starts to a campaign in recent memory. After a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of Mirandes on the opening day, Iván Ania's side gave their fans something to cheer about by coming from a goal down to draw 2-2 with Burgos. Los Califas were unable to replicate that spirit in their most recent encounter, however, as they went suffered a 3-1 to Cordoba.
Meanwhile, Malaga are one of only eight teams in the 2024-25 Segunda División campaign still unbeaten. The visitors began their season with back to back draws against Racing Ferrol and Mirandes.
