The Serie B regular season is coming to an end. There are only three rounds left, and in the 36th round, one of the most exciting duels is between the 2nd-placed Como and playoff-chasing Cittadella.

Como played in Serie D only five seasons ago, but with the arrival of new owners, they quickly moved through the leagues and are now in a superb position to secure Serie A for the first time since the 2002/03 season. This year, the Blues were good from the very start of the season, as they were in the top eight for almost the entire season. Still, as the season progressed, they picked up steam and are now looking like the hottest team in Serie B. Currently, the Blues are 2nd with 68 points, but with only one point above Venezia, and will have to continue winning to avoid dropping down to the Playoffs.

Cittadella are playing its eighth consecutive season in Serie B. In the first six years, they managed to reach the playoffs, but that wasn't the case in the last two years, as they finished 11th and 15th. This year, they could easily miss the playoffs again. Right now, they are one point away from 8th-placed Sampdoria, and two of their three matches will be against excellent teams - Como and Cremonese. 

Como vs Cittadella pick: Como to win

Como are in excellent form, winning four of the last five matches. Even in a match they failed to win vs Sampdoria away from home (1:1), the Blues were a much better team and deserved more. So, we could easily speak about a five-game winning streak. 

Cittadella, on the other hand, won just once in the last 15 games! Looking only at the last 15 games, Cittadella are the second-worst team in the league. So, expecting a positive result against an in-form Como is delusional. 

In the first h2h game this season, Como won 3:0 away from home. Now, at home, with a massive difference in form, we believe Como should secure a comfortable win and move closer to reaching Serie A.
