After a 21-year absence, Como returned to the Italian top-flight division and are only looking to survive this year. While that looked like an impossible task at the start of the season, "The Blue and Whites" started playing a lot better and have every reason to be optimistic about their chances. They lost only to the reigning champs in the last six games and are now in 16th place with 19 points from 19 rounds. Even though they are in the safe zone, they are also just one point away from dropping back to it, so winning points at home is a must.
AC Milan had one of their worst starts in Serie A in recent years. Even though they started playing slightly better, they are still only in 8th place with 28 points from 18 matches - eight away from 4th placed Lazio in the Champions League spots. However, they played two games less, so with a good mini-run, they could close the gap. In contrast to their subpar performance in Serie A, Rossoneri were good in the CL and are on the path to securing the next phase of the competition. Additionally, lately, AC Milan managed to secure the Italian Super Cup after beating Juventus and Inter. That will definitely boost their morale for the remainder of the season.
Como vs AC Milan pick: Both teams to score
Como have been pretty good lately, with their only loss in the last six matches being against Inter. They managed to score at least one goal in five of those six matches! At home, they are scoring regularly and have done so far in seven out of eight games. So, we believe they can score against AC Milan as well.
AC Milan have been excellent for this bet lately as their last four games in all competitions finished with both teams scoring. Their offense has been really impressive lately, scoring three goals against Inter and two against Juventus. Those teams are much better defensively than Como, so at least a goal on the road vs Como is a must.

The 20-year-old is a very important part of the team, as he scored three and assisted four in 18 appearances so far. Additionally, Sergi Roberto and Maximo Perrone, who missed the previous game(s), should remain sidelined.
Edoardo Goldaniga served his one-game suspension against Lazio and will be available. We expect him back in the starting lineup.
