A tight contest seems likely when Ceramica Clepotra hosts Pharco FC in Thursday's Egyptian Premier League contest. 

Placed fifth in the division, Ayman Al Ramadi´s men enjoyed an eight-game unbeaten run before a 1:0 home reversal against Smouha on Sunday. 

Low-scoring outcomes have been frequent for the home side, with under 2.5 goals scored in six of their seven most recent matches. Seven of their last nine home fixtures also saw fewer than three goals scored.

Pharco makes the trip to Suez after a morale-boosting 3:2 win against Ghazl El Mehalla on Saturday. Yassin Marei´s stoppage time goal secured a first win of the year for Ahmed Khatab´s side. 

Placed ninth in the division, four points behind Ceramica, Pharco have struggled to find much form in recent away matches, though. The visitors failed to score in four of their last five road trips, including defeats at Pyramids and El Masry while they won just one of those fixtures.

Like Ceramica, low-scoring outcomes have been relatively frequent for the away side with five of seven previous matches on their travels seeing under 2.5 goals scored. 

Previous encounters between these sides have proven similarly tight. Each of their last five meetings finished deadlocked while four of those games saw no more than two goals scored.

With Pharco struggling for goals on the road, and Ceramica seeing plenty of low-scoring home fixtures, a similarly tight contest seems inevitable on Thursday.

Under 2.5 goals is my top tip, while I also expect the spoils to be shared at New Suez Stadium.
