Celta Vigo vs Leganes Betting Tips - Celta Vigo to Win
Hosts Celta come into Saturday's La Liga contest unbeaten in four matches after a hard-fought 2:2 draw at Girona last weekend. The Sky Blues were left frustrated to claim only a point, though, with Yangel Herrera´s second-half strike rescuing a point for the Catalans.
Claudio Giráldez's side have enjoyed a strong run of form in home fixtures, picking up five wins while losing just one of their last seven La Liga encounters at Abanca-Balaídos.
Placed 10th in the division, Celta find themselves only three points behind sixth-placed Betis in the race to qualify for European competitions next season.
Leganes make the trip to Vigo having broken a six-game winless run with a much-needed 1:0 victory against Leganes last weekend. Diego Garcia´s stoppage time goal secured a first win since January for Borja Jiménez´s side.
Despite that win, Leganes remain in the relegation dogfight. Placed 16th in the division, Los Pepineros sit just three points above the drop zone.
On the road, Jiménez´s men have struggled to find much winning form, with only one victory picked up in 13 away fixtures this season. Remarkably, Leganes only away win came at title-chasing Barcelona.
With Celta finding their best form in home matches, I expect the Sky Blues to see-off a Leganes side that has not won back-to-back La Liga matches since 2020.
