Celta de Vigo will be hoping to get their 2024-25 campaign off to a flying start when they host Alaves on Friday night.

The hosts avoided relegation last season after spending several matchdays in the relegation zone. Claudio Giraldez's side owe their success to a strong end to the season that saw them suffer just one defeat in their last five games of the 2024-25 campaign.
