A competitive and entertaining DBU Pokalen semi-final first-leg should be expected in Wednesday's matchup at Brondby Stadion. 

Hosts Brondby will be confident of their chances after extending their unbeaten run to seven matches with a hard-fought goalless draw against Randers in their most recent Superliga fixture.

While there were no goals to show for a decent road performance, Frederik Christensen's side are usually involved in high-scoring outcomes. Eleven of their last 14 games saw BTTS, while only one of ten previous home fixtures did not see both teams getting on the scoresheet.

Recent encounters between these Superliga rivals have been similarly competitive. Six of their seven most recent meetings finished with both teams getting on the scoresheet, while three of their last four encounters finished deadlocked.
