Having begun the season in superb form, Brentford come into Wednesday's EPL contest now winless in four matches after a goalless draw at Brighton last week.

Approaching the midway point of the season, the Bees, placed 12th in the division with 24 points on the board, have built up a superb home record. Thomas Franck´s side won seven of their first eight EPL games of the campaign before a 2:0 home reversal against Nottingham Forest ten days ago. 

Goals have been the order of the day at the Gtech, with the hosts netting a remarkable 26 goals in eight matches before failing to net in their defeat against Forest. Brenford bagged four or more in four of those fixtures, while they scored at least three in six games in front of their own support this season.

Arsenal arrives in Middlesex in solid form after edging to a narrow 1:0 victory against Ipswich on Boxing Day. Mikel Arteta´s side are unbeaten in their last 11 matches across all competitions with eight victories achieved during that run. 

On the road, the Gunners have proven a little less defensively solid this season. Arteta´s men conceded at least one goal in nine of their last ten away fixtures, including each of their last seven away EPL encounters. As a consequence, BTTS has been frequent, with that outcome occurring in each of their last five games on their travels. 

Arsenal should have enough quality to get the result they want, but we can also expect both teams to score in a lovely contest at the Gtech Stadium.
