Two sides separated by just two points in the Italian top flight go head to head on Sunday evening as Bologna host AS Roma.
Bologna have been cooking on gas for the past season and a half. The visitors finished fifth in the 2023-24 campaign and are on course for a similar finish this term. They ended 2024 with a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Hellas Verona, but prior to that they had won consecutive league games without conceding and were unbeaten in six matches.
Roma aren't where they should be, sitting in tenth place with one of the worst away records in the league. That's surprising, given that Claudio Ranieri is their third head coach of the season, following the sackings of Daniele De Rossi and Ivan Juric. However, things have gone much better for the Yellow and Red in recent times. Roma are unbeaten in four matches, winning three of them and will look to continue their good form against Bologna this weekend.

After picking up seven points from their last three games, Roma will go into Sunday’s game as slight favorites for a win, but the visitors don’t have a good record against Bologna.
