Bologna vs AC Milan Betting Tips - BTTS/Bologna or Draw

A competitive and high-quality Serie A contest can be expected when UCL participants Bologna and Milan square-off this week.

Bologna return to home comforts after a shock 2:0 defeat at Parma last weekend. Vincenzo Italiano´s men had enjoyed a fine run, remaining unbeaten in ten previous matches before their surprise road loss on Sunday.

Particularly strong at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara, Bologna won seven and lost only one of their last nine home fixtures. An average of 3.44 goals were scored in those matches, while BTTS occurred in seven.

Milan come into Thursday's contest after a miserable week which saw them eliminated from the Champions League before a 2:1 defeat at Torino over the weekend. A 1:1 draw against Feyenoord in the San Siro proved costly, before their disappointing reversal in Turin.

On the road, Sergio Conceicao´s side have struggled, losing four of their last five away fixtures. Defensively vulnerable, the Rossoneri kept just two clean sheets in their last 13 road matches, of which nine saw BTTS.

Recent meetings between these sides at this venue have also proven competitive. Four of their last five encounters at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara saw BTTS, and I expect a similar result, with Bologna also likely to avoid defeat given their strong home form.

BTTS is my first pick, with a second stake placed on the hosts to win or draw.
