A place in the final of the Turkish Cup is up for grabs on Tuesday as Besiktas hosts Ankaragucu at Tüpraş Stadyumu.

Following a goalless first-leg, Besiktas come into Tuesday's return contest in Istanbul as favourites to progress to their first Turkish Cup final since they lifted the trophy in 2021.

Placed fourth in the Super Liga, the hosts scored a 3:2 win against Rizespor in their most recent league runout. Serdar Topraktepe´s side are unbeaten in their last three home matches since a 2:1 defeat against Antalyaspor in March. 

The Kara Kartallar have a decent recent home record with five wins and only two defeats in their last nine fixtures at Tüpraş Stadyumu.

Contrastingly, Ankaragucu come into this fixture with a poor away record which has seen them fail to win any of their last ten road matches. The visitors have won just one of their last 14 games on their travels. 

Ankaragucu are usually capable of scoring on the road though, with 14 of their last 17 away fixtures seeing BTTS. Five of the last seven meetings between these sides also saw both teams net.

Ultimately, Besiktas should have the quality to claim their place in the Turkish Cup Final. The Kara Kartallar have won 16 of their last 17 home matches against Ankaragucu since 2003 and I´m backing a similar outcome on Tuesday.
