Belgium came to the UEFA Nations League after a pretty bad EURO performance. They did come out of the group, but France eventually eliminated them in the 1/8 FInals. Generally, their performance in the group phase was far from impressive. Even though they have quality players, the impression is that they are constantly underperforming and that they are not on the level of the best European teams. In the UEFA Nations League, they are 3rd in the group with four points in three rounds. For these two games against Italy and France, Belgium are without their key players, and it seems they are not too interested in this competition.

France have undoubtedly been one of the best teams in the world in recent years. In the previous EURO, they were eliminated by Spain in the Semifinals in a super-close match. And in the World Cup, they were the runner-ups after another super close duel, but that time against Argentina. In the UEFA Nations League, France opened the competition with a loss against Italy but then bounced back with two big wins against Belgium and Israel. Now, they are in 2nd place, just one point away from Italy.

Both teams will miss key players, but we believe that Belgium are much more reliant on their stars, especially Kevin De Bryune, who is the heart and soul of this team. Without him, they are not even remotely as good.
