- Venue: Estadi Johan Cruyff (Barcelona)
We can safely say Barcelona W became the best team in the World. Last year, the Catalan team won the Champions League, the domestic league, and the domestic cup! This year, they are on the pace to do it again, and they look even more dominant than last year and are the big favorites to win all the competitions they are in. However, in the Liga F Women, they “only” have a four-point advantage over the second-placed Real Madrid and will have to keep winning points in order to secure another title.
Since returning to the Spanish top-flight division in 2017/18, Sevilla were mostly a mid-table team, finishing between 7th and 12th place. This year, the Andalusian team is once again around their usual placement, as they are sitting in 9th place after 25 rounds. They won 31 points (1.24 per game), and even though there is a lot of football to be played, they will hardly move significantly up or down on the league’s table.
Barcelona vs Sevilla pick: Barcelona to win and cover the -2 AH spread
Barcelona are playing a fantastic football! This season, in 39 games in all competitions, the Catalonian team won 36 times while winning by two or more goals on 33 occasions – almost 85%. One of their only three losses this season was in March against Real Madrid. However, they bounced back with three fantastic games, winning against Atletico Madrid, Granada, and Wolfsburg with a combined goal difference of 14:1! It seems that that loss motivated them to start playing better than ever.
Meanwhile, Sevilla are in pretty bad form, having won three of the last ten matches. And against the top five teams (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Athletic Bilbao, and Granada), they have a really poor record – one win and nine losses.
In the first h2h game this season, Barcelona won 1:0 but deserved a much bigger win as they had 27 goal attempts and 76% ball possession. Additionally, Barca won the last four h2h games with a combined goal difference of 20:0! Considering the trend in the previous h2h games and all the above, we firmly believe the Catalan team should secure another comfortable win at Estadi Johan Cruyff.

Barcelona W team news
According to Spanish media reports, defender María León will serve the second game of her two-match suspension. The 29-year-old received the ban following an incident in February, during which she grabbed an Espanyol player’s crotch. With Leon suspended, we should see Engen and Paredes start at the back.
