Barcelona maintained their perfect start to the La Liga season with an entertaining 4:2 victory against Levante on Sunday.

Xavi Espart opened the scoring before Lamine Yamal struck twice. Levante threatened a late comeback, but Karim Adeyemi secured the points with Barca's fourth goal.

Flick's side have won all five league fixtures, scoring 21 goals and conceding four. Four of those five games finished with at least three goals while five of six games played this season saw at least five goals scored.

Impressively, Barcelona bagged 26 goals while winning each of their first six fixtures, including five goals scored in three games, including a 5:1 win against Feyenoord in the Champions League last week.

An excellent home record has seen Barcelona win all three competitive fixtures at Camp Nou this season, scoring 12 goals in victories against Athletic Club, Rayo Vallecano and Feyenoord.

Still, clean sheets have been rare for the Catalans. Flick’s side conceded at least one goal in six of their nine competitive fixtures, including two goals conceded at Levante last weekend. 

Head coach Flick has several absentees this week. Frenkie de Jong, Roony Bardghji and Chris-Kevin Bisiwu are expected to remain unavailable through injury, while Eric Garcia is listed as suspended. 

Joao Cancelo, Gavi and Fermin Lopez are among those pushing for recalls.

Racing Santander travel to Catalonia after securing a hard-fought 2:1 victory against Alaves on Saturday.

Yassir Zabiri scored twice as Jose Alberto Lopez's side came from behind to claim their second victory of the campaign.

The visitors have impressed in the forward areas, scoring nine goals in their five league fixtures.

Back in the top flight for the first time since 2012, Racing have offered plenty of attacking threat. However, the Cantabrians lost both away matches, including a 3:2 reversal at Rayo Vallecano.

High-scoring outcomes have been frequent for Santander in 2026. Nine of their last ten competitive fixtures finished with both teams on the scoresheet. 

Head coach López has some selection issues this week. Adilson Almeida is suspended after his late dismissal against Alaves. Stellan Eriksson and Andres Martin are also expected to remain unavailable through injury.

Zabiri should retain his place in attack after scoring both goals on Saturday.
