Arsenal came short to winning the Premier League title in the previous two seasons but were really close to doing it. And in the CL, the Gunners were far from impressive and are still looking for their first title in the club's history. This year, the Gunners are looking good and are among the primary candidates both for the PL and the CL titles. In the Premier League, they are 2nd with a points deficit to Liverpool, but only because the Reds have been simply incredible. And in the Champions League, the Gunners have been among the best teams and are on the path to securing the next stage of the competition.

Monaco have been among the top three teams in France in three out of the last four years and this year once again look like one of the best teams. Right now, they are in 2nd place in Ligue 1 with 29 points - five away from the first placed PSG. When it comes to the Champions League, Monaco are doing great as they are in 8th place, but on a level with points with Arsenal and Bayern Leverkusen, which are in front of them on the league's table.

Arsenal had a poor period in early November when they won just one point in three games, but are now looking fantastic. After those three matches, they went to win four out of five matches. The only match they failed to win was against Fulham on the road when the Gunners totally dominated the game and deserved more. Also, all four wins were by 2+ goals difference, and three of those were by three goals difference.

Moreover, at the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners are yet to lose a game as they are undefeated in ten matches with an 80% win rate. More impressively, they covered the -1.5 AH spread on seven out of eight wins!

Meanwhile, Monaco are in mediocre form at best, losing two out of the last three matches. Even though their record says differently, we weren't impressed by their performance in the CL. Yes, they had a win over Barcelona, but that was because Garcia received an early red card. And the other positive results were against poor Dinamo Zagreb and struggling Bologna.

Considering the difference in quality and Arsenal's incredible home record, we believe that the Gunners should secure a comfortable win over Monaco.
