Arsenal vs Manchester United prediction 04.12.2024 | Premier League

In the previous two seasons, Arsenal came close to winning the Premier League title but came short. This year, the Gunners once again were one of the main candidates for the title, and they aren't playing that poorly, but Liverpool have been simply incredible and are already created a big gap. Arsenal are currently in second place with 25 points but nine points behind the top spot. Meanwhile, the Gunners are doing well in the Champions League, where they are on the right path to secure the next stage of the competition.  

Last year was one of the worst in Manchester United's history in the Premier League. They finished eighth and continued with poor performances this season, at least by their standards. Those poor performances led to sacking Erik ten Hag, and the Red Devils are hoping that Ruben Amorim will turn things around. We saw some improvements under Ruud van Nistelrooy as an interim coach and under Amorim as well. Right now, Manchester are in 9th place with 19 points, still only four away from the top four spots and the Champions League.

Arsenal vs Manchester United pick: Over 2.5 goals

Arsenal won three games in a row and have been awesome offensively, scoring 15 goals in the last three games - five per game. Expectedly, due to excellent offensive performances, they were over 2.5 goals in all three matches.

Since MU sacked Eric Ten Hag, they were excellent. They are undefeated in those seven matches and are playing much better. During that time, they have scored two or more goals on five occasions.

Both teams have been excellent offensively and have played mostly high-scoring games lately. Considering all the above, we expect at least three goals, most likely both teams scoring.
