After spending eight seasons in Ligue 1, Angers were relegated in the 2022/23 season but managed to return instantly in the following season. This season, they are only looking to survive somehow, and for now, they are super close to the danger zone. Right now, "The Black and Whites" are in 14th with 13 points - just one point away from the relegation playout and two away from direct relegation.

Lyon had a super interesting last season as they spent almost the entire first half of the season in the last place. Meanwhile, Lyon are in excellent form. They won three out of the last four and have scored nine goals! Additionally, in the last 13 games, Lyon lost only once, in the EL against Besiktas.
