Anderlecht returns to Lotto Park on Thursday after extending their unbeaten run to seven games with a hard-fought goalless draw at Leuven on Sunday. 

An excellent run of performances has seen David Hubert´s side claim high-scoring wins against Kortrijk (4:0), Cercle Brugge (5:0), and Genk (6:0) while they also picked up a 2:2 draw in the Europa League against Porto.

Particularly strong at Lotto Park, Anderlecht have won five of their last six unbeaten home fixtures with an impressive 19 goals scored. Hubert´s men have lost just one of 11 games played on home soil this season.

Westerlo make the trip to Brussels in decent form with three wins picked up from their last five matches. However, Timmy Simon´s side have struggled in recent road matches. Westerlo lost four of their last away fixtures. 

Anderlecht claimed victories in two of their last three meetings with Westerlo, and while the visitors did pick up a 2:2 draw on their last visit to this venue, I fancy the hosts to maintain their excellent form with another victory on Wednesday.

I'm putting my money on the hosts to secure their place in the next round of the Belgian Cup.
