- Competition: Saudi Pro League
- Date: 1st November 2024
- Kick-off: 18:00 UTC / 19:00 CET
- Venue: Al -Awwal Park
One of the biggest fixtures in Saudi Arabia’s top flight takes place on Friday as last year’s champions Al Hilal play host to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr.
Al Nassr entered the 2024-25 campaign hoping to turn things around after finishing runners-up in each of the last two seasons. The Global One have not been able to provide the desired response, with the team currently sitting in third place, six points adrift of leaders. Things went from bad to worse for Stefano Pioli's men in midweek when they were knocked out of the King Cup of Champions by a Al Taawoun side six places below them in the league standings.
Al Hilal have merely picked up where they left off last season. The visitors boast eight wins from their eight Saudi Pro League matches so far and have also won all five of their cup games. Jorge Jesus' side were last seen in midweek at Al-Tai, where they booked their place in the quarter-finals of the King Cup of Champions with a 4-1 win without top scorer Mitrović in the XI.
Al Nassr vs Al Hilal Betting Tips: Over 2.5 goals
While Al Nassr failed to score after almost 100 minutes against Al Taawoun in midweek, Ronaldo and co have been great offensively over the last couple of months, finding the back of the net in all but one of their last 15 games across all competitions and I fancy goals for the hosts on Friday.
Al Hilal have the best attack in the Saudi Pro League and they scored at least two goals in each of their last seven outings. Bets on over 2.5 goals were won in six of those matches and I fancy a similar result on Friday evening.
- Best Tip: Over 2.5 goals

Al Nassr team news
Al Nassr remain without the services of midfielder Sami Al-Najei who has missed the last 44 games due to a cruciate ligament injury.
Cristiano Ronaldo will be desperate to make amends for his penalty miss and if you are looking to place bets on someone scoring, him and Mitrovic are favorites.
Wesley started on the left wing ahead of Mane in the King Cup of Champions on the left wing last time out, but that is likely to change on Friday with the latter set to start.

Al Hilal team news
Having been rested in the King Cup of Champions win over Al Tai last time out, Aleksandar Mitrović, João Cancelo, Kalidou Koulibaly and Sergej Milinković-Savić will all return to the XI on Friday.
Mitrović has ten goals in eight games this season and is set to lead the line alongside Malcom and Salem Aldawsari, while Sergej Milinković-Savić will be the man to watch in the middle of the park.

Three reasons we expect at least three goals in this game
- Over 2.5 goals were seen in six of the last seven games of Al Hilal.
- Just two of the last six games of Al Nassr produced under 2.5 goals.
- Both teams scored in all but one of the last six competitive meetings between Al Nassr and Al Hilal.
Main prediction -
Over 2.5 goals
