Al Nassr will be looking to register their second win in the 2024-25 Saudi Pro League campaign on Friday night when they host Al Ahli.
The hosts spent the entirety of last season chasing the Saudi top-flight title and they have continued the chasing this season. Ronaldo and co. began the new campaign with a humiliating defeat to Al-Hilal in the Super Cup final at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City where they conceded four goals in a competitive match for the first time since 21 February. Meanwhile, Al Ahli Saudi started their new campaign with a defeat on penalties after a 1-1 draw with Al Ahli Saudi in the Super Cup final. Matthias Jaissle's side responded well with a 2-0 win over Al Orobah in their first league game of the 2024-25, but their struggles continued on Matchday 2 when they lost 1-0 to Al Fateh.
