- Kickoff: 17:00 UK / 18.00 CEST
- Venue: King Abdullah Sports City (Jeddah)
Al Ittihad will continue their title chase as they face bottom-half side Al Raed at King Abdullah Sports City in Thursday's Saudi Pro League action.
In a frenzied clash filled with drama and two failed spot-kicks, Al Ittihad barely salvaged a point at Al Feiha in their most recent league outing, thanks to the heroics of super-sub Fawaz Al Saqour, who struck a last-gasp equalizer just seven minutes after coming off the bench. Head boss Laurent Blanc and his troops have plenty to regret, as they not only missed the opportunity to wrap up the clash more simpler, but also failed to leapfrog Al Hilal at the summit of the table and open up a two-point gap over them.
On the other side, Al Raed have struggled to find their rhythm this season, making the task of avoiding relegation from the top flight a top priority for them, especially after collecting a rather paltry 14 points from as many league fixtures. Even though they began 2025 on a high note by edging past Al Jabalain on penalties to secure a final-four spot in the Saudi King Cup, the Red-Blacks delivered another disappointing top-flight performance four days later, enduring a 0-2 home loss to Damac that pushed them dangerously close to the relegation zone with a slim one-point cushion.
Al Ittihad vs Al Raed Betting Tips: AH1 (-1.5)
During their last visit to King Abdullah, Al Raed stunned Al Ittihad with an unforgettable 3-1 triumph, but we believe a repeat of such a scenario is nearly impossible this time, as the Yellow-Blacks appear determined to deliver a ruthless act of revenge. In fact, Al Ittihad have been unstoppable on their home ground this season, having not dropped a single point during their opening nine matches in any format, and they are eager to continue their impressive home run as they push forward in the title chase. At the moment, it's hard to imagine Al Raed spoiling the great atmosphere at King Abdullah, especially as they are going through a tough run of results, having been condemned to defeat in five of their last six SPL contests. After a costly slip-up in their title chase with a 1-1 draw against Al Feiha last time out, Karim Benzema and co. will be eager to make amends and get back on track with a commanding display for their fans.

Al Feiha team news
Compared to Thursday's host, Al Ittihad, Al Raed have fewer injury concerns, with Mohammed Fouzair being the only absentee as he continues his recovery from a serious ligament injury.
After a painful 0-2 defeat to Damac last time out, third in the Saudi Pro League in a row, frustrated manager Odair Hellmann will likely consider making several changes to the starting lineup.
