Saudi League action returns to the Al Inma Bank Stadium at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium on Friday evening as Al Ahli host Al Nassr FC.

Al-Ahli and Al-Nassr meet in a high-stakes Saudi Pro League clash with both teams coming into this contest in great form. Indeed, both sides have won each of their last five matches across all competitions, and a likely entertaining contest between two of the league's top sides is expected. 

Al-Ahli sit fifth in the league, just three points behind third-placed Al-Nassr, and a victory here could see them climb into the AFC Champions League qualification spots. Al Nassr meanwhile find themselves eight points behind leaders Al-Ittihad. 

Goals have been a regular feature in this fixture in previous seasons with BTTS landing in seven of the last eight meetings and I expect that pattern to continue this week. 

More recently, Al-Nassr have been in high-scoring form on their travels, but their defense has been vulnerable, resulting in BTTS in eight of their last ten away matches. Al-Ahli have also seen BTTS in seven of their last 11 home games.

Led by Cristiano Ronaldo and new signing Jhon Duran in attack, Al Nassr have found their shooting boots with 19 goals scored in their last seven matches. However, a lack of clean sheets suggests we can also expect the hosts to get on the scoresheet.

Al-Ahli will provide a stiff test, with the hosts winning seven and losing just one of their last nine home fixtures and it wouldn't be a surprise to see a high-scoring outcome with at least three goals scored.

Given both teams' attacking quality, BTTS looks like the best bet on Thursday, while I also expect the in-form visitors to score at least two goals.
