Galatasaray will be looking to for a win that could see them finish in the top eight of the Europa League when they travel to the Netherlands to face Ajax this week.
Ajax are having a great domestic campaign compared to the last two seasons, when they finished third and fifth respectively in the Eredivisie. The hosts are sixth in the Europa League and with four points separating them from eighth place, the result of Thursday's game will not really matter.
Galatasaray, meanwhile, are on course for a third Süper Lig title. The Lions are six points clear of José Mourinho's second-placed Fenerbache and are the only side yet to suffer defeat in the competition. Okan Buruk’s side are also unbeaten in the Europa League with three wins and four draws, but need a win this week to avoid the play-offs.

While Ajax have been much better this season than they were the last two, they have not improved defensively and I expect them to concede against Galatasaray this week. The Turkish side failed to keep a clean sheet in eleven of their last twelve matches, with bets on btts-yes winning in the same number of games. Ajax head coach Francesco Farioli remain without the services of Amourricho Van Axel-Dongen and Owen Wijndal due to ankle and knee injuries, respectively.
