AIK and Malmo go head-to-head at the Friends Arena on Matchday 3 of the new Swedish top-flight campaign, with both sides looking to continue their flying starts.
After achieving their best league result in three years with a third place finish last season, AIK Stockholm went into the new campaign with hopes of challenging for the title. So far, things have gone well for Mikkjal Thomassen's side, who opened their campaign with a 1-0 win over GAIS before coming from behind to beat Norrkoping last weekend.
Malmö meanwhile are aiming to win the Swedish top flight for the third time in a row. They won the last title outright, finishing eleven points clear of runners-up Hammarby, and will be hoping to do the same this season. Henrik Rydström's side have also started the new campaign in fine form, beating Djurgarden and Elfsborg in their first two matches, conceding just one goal in the process.

Although AIK conceded three goals against Norrkoping in their last Allsvenskan meeting, the hosts have a strong defensive record against Malmo and I think that will be the key on Monday. Thomassen's men have kept a clean sheet in two of the last three meetings between the two sides and recent encounters at the Friends Arena were not entertaining as just one of the last nine produced more than two goals.
