AIK vs Kalmar Betting Tips - Over 2.5 Goals

Following a one-month mid-season hiatus, AIK and Kalmar return to action looking to bounce back from a poor run of domestic form. 

Prior to the recent break, AIK lost four of their last five league matches, with a whopping 17 goals conceded in those fixtures. Placed disappointingly in eighth spot, AIK find themselves 15 points behind leaders Malmo. 

High-scoring outcomes have been regular occurrences in AIK´s matches before the summer break. Henok Goitom´s side saw a remarkable 39 goals scored in their previous seven league matches - that's an average of over 5.5 goals per game! AIK scored 15 but conceded 24 goals during a wild run of form between April and May. 

During their recent break, AIK also slipped to friendly defeats against Viking and Sparta Prague. Each of the home side ́s last eight matches have now seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored. Six of those games saw at least four goals netted.

Kalmar make the trip to Solna having also struggled to find much form before the summer shutdown. The visitors lost eight of 12 league games played this season, and now sit second from bottom of the division, with only ten points collected.

Similar to AIK, high-scoring outcomes have proven frequent for Stefan Larsson´s struggling side. Kalmar saw over 2.5 goals scored in seven of their last nine league games, and in five of their last seven on the road. 

While none of the last nine meetings between these sides saw over 2.5 goals scored, recent form indicates that we should still be confident of seeing at least three goals this weekend. 

I expect BTTS but over 2.5 goals should prove a good value selection considering AIK´s recent high-scoring run.
