Last year, AC Milan had an unsuccessful season as they finished without winning any trophies. They barely secured Europe by finishing 4th, but only because Juve had a 10-point deduction. This season, even though there is a lot of football to be played, it seems that AC Milan will once again fail to win a domestic trophy as they were knocked from the Cup by Atalanta and are already eight points away from the 1st-placed Inter in Serie A and they played one game more. However, recently, Rossoneri did well, winning ten points in the last four Serie A games, and there are definitely reasons to be optimistic.
After winning their third Scudetto last year in a dominant fashion, everyone expected another good season from Napoli. However, after losing coach Luciano Spalletti, it all crumbled, and the Blues are in 7th place, four points away from the Champions League spots and 22 away from the league's leader, Inter. Pretty much their only bright spot of the season is their Champions League appearance, where they managed to secure the knockout phase and will face Barcelona on February 21st.
AC Milan vs Napoli pick: AC Milan to win
AC Milan are in good form, with ten points in the last four games. They won three and drew against Bologna but were unlucky in that match, considering they missed two penalties. They could have easily been on a four-game winning streak if they had been just a little luckier. At San Siro, Rossoneri have been really good throughout the season and have won eight of 11 matches - 73%.
Napoli have been really inconsistent this season, and even though they have been good away from home throughout the season, that has not been the case lately. In the last five matches, they won just one point while failing to score in four of those five matches! So, it is really hard to expect a positive result against a strong home team like AC Milan, especially without their key striker Osimhen, who is in AFCON.
In the previous h2h game at Naples, we saw a close 2:2 draw. Now, considering all the above, but especially Napoli's recent road games, we believe that AC Milan should secure a win at San Siro.

Napoli team news
A left full-back, Mario Rui, received a fifth yellow card vs Hellas Verona and will serve his one-game suspension against AC Milan.
According to Italian media, Piotr Zielinski and Matteo Politano did not train with the rest of the team due to minor injuries. Both will most likely miss the upcoming match(es). Also, Alex Meret and Marhias Olivera will remain sidelined with their injuries.
Victor Osimhen is still playing for his national team (Nigeria) in the ongoing AFCON and will miss the Milan game. Osimhen is a key piece for Napoli, and his absence is a major problem for Mazzarri's squad.
