Aalborg surely hoped for a much better situation in this part of the season, but with five rounds left and only three points more than the drop zone, another relegation is looming. Aalborg won only two points in the last five matches, and the upcoming tie against Vejle is probably the best possible opportunity to get back on the right track. Last weekend, Aalborg lost 3-2 at home against Sonderjyske. The home side was terrible in the first half, so the guests had a 2-0 lead at halftime. Aalborg showed much more in the second half, but the hole they dug out in the first 45 minutes was too big. 

Vejle are in big problems. They are the last on the table with five points fewer than the safety. Vejle's form is also problematic, as they have not won in the last four matches. In the previous game, Steffen Kielstrup's team lost 4-0 at home against Silkeborg. That was another match in which Vejle's terrible defense cost them even a chance to win some points. There is not much time to change things, but Kielstrup's team will surely try to win on Monday in Aalborg, as they would then close the gap to safety to only two points.

Both teams are terrible in defense. Aalborg allowed nine goals in the last three matches, while Vejle conceded seven points in the previous two games. We should expect at least three goals on Monday afternoon in Aalborg.
