LeoVegas bonuses and promotions
Our team of experts headed straight to check out the LeoVegas bonuses and promotions. Here, they found an attractive welcome bonus, as well as regular rewards that are up for grabs. As we start this LeoVegas review, we’ll be sharing the details of these that you need to know.
The LeoVegas welcome offer
LeoVegas’ welcome offer allows new UK punters to claim a 100% profit boost on their first bet. The bonus for customers in Canada is the chance to claim $50 worth of free bets.
The UK works by wagering a minimum of £10 within 30 days of opening an account. Minimum odds are 2.0 and, if your bet wins, LeoVegas will match your winnings up to a maximum of £100. Over in Canada, new customers need to place a $50 qualifying bet and then they can receive 2x $25 free bets.
Looking to take advantage of these welcome offers? Well, before you do, be sure to check out the terms and conditions so that you can see exactly how they work.
Ongoing offers at LeoVegas
Our experts at MightyTips were keen to check out the ongoing offers at LeoVegas. Here’s a look at what they came across:
- Social media prizes: Follow LeoVegas on Instagram and Facebook. Like and comment on relevant posts and win cash prizes, up to £100.
- LeoVegas Specials: These are odds boosts and are available daily. When logging in we saw odds on a Barcelona match boosted from 2.15 to 2.50.
- Acca profit boosts: Weekly opportunity to boost profits up to 50% (to a maximum of £/$1,000. Max stake is £20 and seven legs required for the maximum boost.
- Free bet builder bets: UK customers also have the chance to claim 2x £5 free bet builder bets every week.
VIP status at LeoVegas
If you’re looking to gain VIP status at LeoVegas, you’ll need to head over to the casino. As it stands, there’s nothing up for grabs for users of LeoVegas’ sportsbook. While this is disappointing, it doesn’t do away with the quality of the ongoing offers here. If you have any interest in casino games, we’d recommend checking out the VIP program, with points leading to exclusive rewards and bonuses.
Licensing and security at LeoVegas
Licensing and security at LeoVegas were a top priority for our experts. We found that there’s a license from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA/CRP/237/2013) which allows the site to operate in a host of countries. We also found one from the UK Gambling Commission (39198) that allows the site to operate in the UK. The bodies issuing these licenses have strict rules and regulations that focus on player safety.
We also found that LeoVegas’ website has 128-bit SSL encryption in place. This means that the details of transactions are kept secure. Alongside this, there’s also a detailed privacy policy showing how LeoVegas keeps your information safe.
The LeoVegas user experience
The LeoVegas user experience was something that our experts were fans of. The site is all about making things easy for the user. It starts with the ease with which you can get an account up and running and goes through to the entire betting experience.
We were able to set up our account, make a deposit, and place our first bet in less than 5 minutes.
Navigating the LeoVegas site
Navigating the LeoVegas site was a little different to other sites that we’ve reviewed. We’re used to sports being listed on the left-hand side of the page, but here navigation is via the menu in the header. This still works well, and we had no problems finding the sports that interested us. It was equally easy to find other areas of the site, such as the casino.
The footer also includes links that make it easy to find your way around the site.
Website design
It has to be said that LeoVegas’ website design is extremely basic. While this can be a good thing, in terms of finding what you need, we found that the look was less than appealing. The white background and chosen fonts hardly stand out.
While the appearance was far from outstanding, our experts were fans of the features here. First, there’s LeoVegas’ cashout feature, then there’s live streaming, and bet builder that all lead to an impressive experience.
- Advantages
- Early cashout
- Live streaming
- Bet builders
- In-play betting
- Limitations
- Very basic design
The LeoVegas mobile app
LeoVegas’ mobile app is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. It allows you to enjoy all of the features that are present on the desktop site, but also comes with push notifications to keep you in the loop. When our experts looked at The App Store, they found that the app had a 4.7/5 rating from more than 2,000 reviews. In the Google Play Store, the rating was 4.2/5 with close to 6,000 reviews.
Not wanting to download an app? The desktop site is fully optimized to work on mobile devices too.
- Android app: Yes
- iOS app: Yes
Payment methods at LeoVegas
Looking at the payment methods was an important part of this LeoVegas review. Our experts were looking for methods that allow for fast transactions, have great limits, and can be trusted. Let’s take a look at how the LeoVegas sportsbook delivers here:
Funding your LeoVegas account
When you’re ready to fund your LeoVegas account, you limited to just 5 options. While the number may not be the most we’ve seen, the options are reliable and trusted. We saw LeoCard, ApplePay, Checkout, TrueLayer, and PayPal. Each option has a low £/$10 minimum limit, credit your account instantly, and come with no fees.
- Minimum deposit: £/$10
- Maximum deposit: £/$10,000
LeoVegas withdrawals
When looking at Leovegas withdrawals, the options are LeoCard, ApplePay, TrueLayer, and PayPal. LeoVegas’ withdrawal times depend on the option that you’re using, but the fastest of these, PayPal, sees funds in your account within 2 hours.
- Minimum withdrawal: £/$10
- Maximum withdrawal: £/$35,000
Amount | Time | Fees | Amount | Time | Fees | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
£10–£10,000 | Instant | 0% | £10–£35,000 | Up to 3-5 days | 0% | |
£100–£10,000 | Instant | 0% | £10–£35,000 | Up to 3-5 days | 0% | |
£100–£10,000 | Instant | 0% | £10–£35,000 | Up to 3-5 days | 0% |
LeoVegas customer support
Our experts checked out LeoVegas’ customer support and were left impressed with what they found. To start with, we explored the help center here. It had sections covering betting rules, deposits and withdrawals, and much more. Each section featured 10-20 articles and we found this to be extremely useful. If you can’t find the answer you need, you can reach out via email (response in 24-48 hours) or live chat. We put live chat to the test.
It's worth noting that you need to be logged in to your account to use live chat. We asked a question about betting limits and found an agent was with us in around 2 minutes. There were a couple of delays as we waited for a final answer, but this was still pretty quick. The agent came across as helpful and polite, but they had to take some time to get their hands on the information we asked for.

Sports betting at LeoVegas
There’s plenty to explore when it comes to sports betting at LeoVegas. Let’s take a look at exactly what the LeoVegas sportsbook has to offer:
Sports selection
We found that LeoVegas has 40+ sports to bet on. It was great to see a range of football and rugby betting opportunities, as well as extensive coverage of horse racing. Alongside these popular betting options, we also found that we could wager on TV shows and less followed sports like pool and trotting.
The depth of coverage was great across the board, but we felt that LeoVegas really excelled when it came to basketball. Beyond the NBA there was action in the Brazilian leagues as well as plenty of European coverage.
LeoVegas odds
LeoVegas’ odds were something that our team was keen to explore. This was so that we could see how profitable betting could be here. As we ran through the numbers, we found that LeoVegas’ margins came in with an average of 7.8%. The truth is that this is far from being the best that we’ve seen, but it’s still acceptable.
It’s worth remembering that there are Leo Specials here. These offer daily odds boosts and these allow LeoVegas to redeem itself.
Live betting
Looking at LeoVegas’ live betting, our experts found that this was dominated by horse racing and football. While there were also sports such as tennis, table tennis, snooker, and volleyball present, the range of events was slim to say the least. What was good here though was the fact that there’s an early cashout feature.
When it comes to LeoVegas’s live streaming, the good news is that the quality is exceptional. The bad news is that this is limited to horse racing. Great for racing fans but lacking for those into other sports.
Betting limits
We trawled the LeoVegas site to find details of betting limits but struggled to find any solid information. Instead, we reached out to customer service to find out. We were told that limits vary between sports, events, and markets. This meant that they couldn’t give us specific figures.
What we did find though was that there were caps placed on winnings. Each sport has its own cap. Examples include horse racing at £1 million and football at £200,000.
Range of markets
As we looked at the range of markets at LeoVegas, we enjoyed our time experimenting with the prop bets that were available. We wagered on the likes of the number of corners, which team would get the most yellow cards, and who’d win the toss. Alongside these, we found that all of the major markets were covered too. This meant that we could bet on the likes of outrights and accas.
Deposit limits
Deposit limits at LeoVegas depend on the method you’re using. All of the options have a £/$10 minimum. This goes as high as £/$10,000 with TrueLayer whereas PayPal limits you to just £/$1,000.
Esports at LeoVegas
Our experts at MightyTips next took a look at esports at LeoVegas. Here’s a detailed look at what they found.
Esports coverage
LeoVegas’ esports coverage is up there with some of the best that we’ve seen. We found that all of the best titles were covered. This means that we could bet on the likes of Counter-strike 2, Dota 2, Rainbow 6, League of Legends, and 4 others.
Esports odds
Our experts were pleased with what they found when looking at esports’ odds at LeoVegas. They found that, across the board, the average margins were just 5.4%. This makes LeoVegas one of the most profitable operators for esports betting.
Live esports betting
The live esports betting section is thriving. As we logged in, we saw just under 100 events taking place. We saw the action taking place in VCL: Korea, the UKIC League, the Summoner's Cup, and more. What made this even better was the fact that all of these were being live streamed.
Esports betting markets
We couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed here. The range of esports betting markets was limited compared to other sites that we’ve reviewed. There were plenty of map betting options and outrights but, for us, there were too many omissions here.
The LeoVegas casino
LeoVegas’ casino is what this brand is perhaps best known for. With more than 2,500 games, this site has won awards for being the best online casino 7 years in a row. The last award game was 2023.
Game providers
The casino at LeoVegas is powered by some of the best providers in the iGaming industry. There are hundreds of big names here and just some of those that stand out are Playson, Play ‘n Go, Microgaming, and NetEnt.
Game selection
It’ll come as no surprise that the game selection at LeoVegas is dominated by slots. There are around 2,400 of these, covering classics, Megaways, and jackpot titles. Just some of the ones that we enjoyed playing were Devilish Fortune, The Sword and the Grail, and Jumanji.
If you’re a fan of table games, you’ll find that there’s a handful of these to explore. The basics are all covered with a few variants of blackjack, roulette, and baccarat.
The live casino section
Our team found that there were around 200 games in the live casino section. With providers such as Evolution, Pragmatic Play, and Ezugi, there were approximately 80 roulette tables and 70 blackjack ones to play at.
We enjoyed the Live from Vegas section. Here, games were taking place at the Bellagio and MGM casinos. It was an amazing experience joining in with these games.
Wager limits
The wager limits at LeoVegas are suitable for players no matter what their budgets. We found that roulette could be played with just £0.20 and blackjack tables let you join in with just £1. For the high rollers, there’s a section dedicated to VIP players. Here, there’s the chance to wager as much as £20,000.
Creating a LeoVegas account
Before you can place a bet, you’ll need to create an account with LeoVegas. The good news is that you’ll just need to follow these simple steps:
- Use our link to head to the LeoVegas site
- Click the ‘Register’ button, fill in the requested details
- Confirm your account via the link sent to your email
- Make your first deposit and start to bet
Just as is the case with all of the best operators, LeoVegas’ registration process is as simple as it possibly could be.
Our final thoughts on the LeoVegas experience
As we approach the end of our review of LeoVegas, we leave feeling generally impressed. Yes, there are areas to improve here, but overall, we enjoyed our time exploring LeoVegas’ offerings.
We can’t fault the welcome bonuses on offer, with both UK and Canadian customers having the chance to claim. The ongoing odds boosts and free bets are also good to see and offer real value. When it comes to LeoVegas’ specials, these can make a real difference to the profitability of your betting.
We’d like to see more going on with live streaming, but the horse racing and esports streams are certainly worth a tick in the box.
It has to be said that this is a brand that is best known for its casino. The name alone suggests that this is where the focus really is. However, it still performs well with its sportsbook. While there’s nothing particularly innovative here the site is still dependable and offers a good experience.
